This Privacy Policy explains how Time Calculator (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the App. By using Time Calculator, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information that is necessary for the App to work, including to provide optional paid features, and a limited amount of usage information that helps us understand how the App is used and improve it. We do not show ads in the App, and we do not use your data for advertising.

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Your email address
Your password

Your password is handled securely by our authentication provider and is stored in a hashed form. We never have access to your password in plain text.

1.2 Content You Create

To provide the App's core features, we store the content you create, including:

Routines — their titles, colors, schedules, and recurrence settings
Tasks — their titles, descriptions, and durations
The relationships and ordering between your routines and tasks

1.3 Technical Information

A limited amount of technical data is processed so the App can function correctly, such as a unique account identifier and timestamps indicating when your data was created or last modified.

1.4 Purchase Information

If you buy a Premium subscription or the lifetime upgrade, we process information about that purchase so we can unlock and restore your paid features, including:

Your purchase and subscription status (for example, which plan you have and whether it is active)
A purchase identifier associated with your account

All payments are handled by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card number or billing details — these are handled entirely by Google. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify your purchases and subscription status.

1.5 Analytics and Usage Information

We use Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how the App is used. It automatically collects:

Device and app identifiers — an app instance identifier and your device's Advertising ID
Usage information — for example, when the App is first opened, updated, or removed, session starts, and how long you use the App
Purchase events — the fact that an in-app purchase was made through Google Play
Device information — such as device model, operating system version, language, and app version
Approximate location — the country or region, derived from your IP address

Analytics data is used in an aggregated form and is not linked to your email address or to the content you create. The Advertising ID is used only for analytics and is not used to show you ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

Authenticate you and keep your account secure
Store and sync your routines and tasks across your devices
Schedule notifications and alarms for your routines on your device
Process and restore your purchases and unlock Premium features
Understand how the App is used, so we can fix problems and improve it
Provide, maintain, and improve the App's core functionality

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your account information, content, and purchase information because it is necessary to provide the App to you, and we process analytics information on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the App. You have the right to object to this processing at any time (see Section 5).

3. Data Storage and Synchronization

Your data is stored in two places:

Locally on your device, so the App works offline.
In the cloud, through our backend provider, so your data can be synced and restored across devices.

We use Supabase as our backend and authentication provider. Your account and content data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure and are subject to their security and privacy practices. Please review Supabase's own privacy policy for more details.

Your purchases and subscription status are processed by Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. These providers process purchase information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Analytics information is processed by Google through Google Analytics for Firebase and may be processed on servers outside your country. Please review Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services for more details.

4. Notifications and Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions to deliver its features:

Notifications — to remind you about your scheduled routines
Exact alarms — to trigger routine reminders at the correct time
Run at startup — to restore your scheduled reminders after your device restarts
Internet access — to sync your data with the cloud

All reminders and alarms are generated locally on your device. Notification content is not shared with us or any third party.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active.

When you log out, your locally stored data is removed from the device.
When you log in on a new device (or as a different user), locally stored data belonging to a previous user is cleared.

Analytics information is kept for a limited period (up to 14 months) and is then automatically deleted by Google.

You can limit the analytics information collected about you at any time:

You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device).
You can ask us to stop processing or to delete the analytics information associated with your device by contacting us at the address below.
Uninstalling the App stops all further data collection.

If you have an active subscription, you can manage or cancel it at any time through your Google Play account settings (Play Store → Subscriptions). Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play; please cancel it separately in Google Play.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Authentication is handled over secure, encrypted connections, and your password is never stored in plain text. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
